Shining Light have the ability to provide 24/7 in home care. This support is tailored to the individual and allows a high level of support in an environment that the individual is familiar and comfortable in.
Shining Light tailors all supports to the individual and uses a multi-disciplinary approach by ensuring family members and allied health services are involved to develop a plan to ensure the support being provided is effective in supporting the individual to reach set goals, and obtain daily living, social and independence skills.
Staff are also able to support individuals in the community to assist in building these skills through shopping, public transport training, arranging and attending appointments and much more.
At Shining Light, we are able to offer professional, in home overnight respite services. Our support services take all your specific requests and demands into consideration and guarantee personalized 1:1 attention.
Overnight respite (in home) is able to be arranged at short notice with staff available.
Various group programs will be available through Shining Light and will be offered with qualified staff overseeing their completion.

Whats the Buzz - A role-play and playbased program focused on building and improving social skills.
Transition to School - This group will support individuals who are starting to transition from Primary to Secondary school. Literacy and Numeracy, communication and Language skills are able to be addressed.
Lego - Focus on communication skills, expression of feelings, and development of problem solving skills. Working with others individuals enables individuals to obtain communication skills as well as addressing any task focus and sharing issues.
Sport Clinics - Development of team skills, social skills, communication, behavioural interventions and healthy lifestyle.
Minecraft - Development of Social skills and friendship building.
